I grew up as one of six. So when families with three, four, five kids tell me they've stopped booking photos because nobody ever looks at the camera at the same time — I know. My mom has exactly one recent picture of all of us standing still. All of us piled together at the apple orchard and we managed to stop moving long enough to have my sister snap this photo.

If you've been waiting for the year your kids "behave" for the camera, that year isn't coming. The picture in your head — everyone smiling, hands folded, matching outfits — isn't the one you'll want in fifteen years anyway. You'll want the one at the orchard with everyone happy and together..

Book the session. The chaos is the point.
