🤍 Paige & John 🤍

After dating for three years, Paige & John took a trip to Prague with her family. They arrived on their first day with her sister at 7a, and were totally exhausted but determined to beat the jet lag. So the trio drank an unhealthy amount of espresso and set out to explore the city.

When dinner finally rolled around, Paige was absolutely exhausted and wanted to get a quick bite before finally getting some sleep. BUT, John and Stef insisted they go to a restaurant on the river that was further from their hotel. The dinner was gorgeous and when it was over, Paige was so excited to get some sleep. However, Stef “happened” to see that the Lover’s Bridge was nearby and insisted on seeing it.

But Paige was out voted. Stef made the excuse that she had to go mail a postcard and John & Paige continued to the bridge. In Paige’s words, “the walk started off pretty cranky but the city was so beautiful (and we got a little lost, so I had some extra cool down time) that by the time we arrived at the bridge I was so glad we went.”

“THERE'S NO LOCKS?!”

As they walked up, they noticed that all of the love locks had been cut off because their weight was compromising the structural integrity of the bridge. John was mortified and Paige was so confused as to why these locks were so important. The good news is that John pressed on, locks or no locks, and proposed on the bridge.

Fast forward to booking their wedding venue. They found out there was a bridge on the property that people put locks on. So of course we had to end the day with these two finally getting to put their own lock on Lover’s Bridge.

“I love telling the story of the proposal because it sounds like so much went wrong but honestly to both of us it was perfect. I really love that about being with John; even when I’m exhausted, or we’re lost, or all of the locks have been cut off the bridge, we’re still having so much fun together and it all feels perfect.”

And lemme just tell you, it was a joy to witness their love.

Let’s talk inquiries!!! 📲 What’s the best way to inquire with your fav vendors, what info should you include, when should you inquire, and what makes you as a client really stand out in our emails!

🗓 First and foremost, when you inquire, ALWAYS include your event date, be it your wedding, welcome party, engagement party, etc. without that date, we can’t give you the biggest piece of the pie— can we be there?!

💌 When should you inquire? I wish this didn’t sound so dramatic, you know when that little thought pops into your head that you might want a photographer there? BOOM, that’s the exact moment you should reach out.

📝 What details should you include in your inquiry? This is a biggie….👏🏼EVERY👏🏼THING!👏🏼 Your date, your ideas, your vendors, if you have a vision board… even if you’re just in the beginning stages of planning, keep us up to date on each stage of your event so we can better serve you with ideas, suggestions and more!

The more information you supply your vendors with, the better. The more we can help you and be the best vendor we can be for your event!

3 things that are easily overlooked ✨ but make a HUGE difference in your wedding day and photos:

1️⃣ Think through all the details of your day and really make them special + unique to you guys. Don't just do something because it's expected… Do it because you want to and it means something to YOU!

2️⃣ Do the hard work when hiring your vendors - make sure you really love them AND their work! Then, sit back and TRUST them to create their magic. Our best work really does come from knowing you trust us to create magic and finding freedom in that. Plus, its wayyyy less stress on you! Win-win! 🙌🏼

3️⃣ Come to terms with the fact that your wedding dress is going to be dirty by the end of your day. Even if you're stressed out about it all day long and try your hardest not to get anything on it, there will alwaysss be something that gets on it. So just accept it! I promise you'll have WAY more fun, be more present, and wind up with a bunch of memories + photos that you’ll love forever. 🖤
