Meet Patricia! The best girl who’s been waiting WAY too long for her happily-ever-after. Found as a stray taking shelter in someone’s backyard, she’s still waiting for someone to take her home!

Looking for your perfect little boo? Meet Kalshi! This 5-year-old, 43 lb pit bull girl is ready to cast a spell on your heart and become your new best friend! 🧡🐾

I was a little nervous about this Halloween photoshoot because the frame was floating, meaning our pups had to be extra brave and step behind it! But Kalshi? She was ready to do ANYTHING for a sweet treat! She absolutely exceeded every expectation and proved that she’s one brave, sweet, treat-loving girl!

Kalshi is social, friendly, walks nicely on a leash, knows how to sit, and has moderate energy. Her favorite things in the whole wide world? Rawhide-type bones, yummy snacks, and probably dreaming about the day she gets to be someone’s full-time couch potato. 💤She’s truly the perfect girl, and all she’s missing is a family to call her own!

October 1st was Black Dog Awareness Day, but unfortunately, being overlooked is something many black dogs experience every day.

These sweet faces are proof that there’s so much more to a dog than the color of their fur. Every single one of these pups is available for adoption, and we can tell you firsthand that they’re some of the sweetest, snuggliest dogs you’ll meet. ❤️

🎾 Beady & her ball! 🐾❤️

If there’s one thing Beady knows how to do, it’s have FUN! Her favorite activity is fetch, and apparently, a Jolly Ball is best enjoyed when it’s carried everywhere you go. 😂🎾 She’ll even proudly bring her ball right back to her kennel with her!

Beady is such a happy, loving girl who is ready to find the people she can call her own. She loves attention, loves her ball, and has so much personality just waiting to shine outside of the shelter. ❤️

She’s been waiting at LC4 for quite a while, and we’d love nothing more than to see her spending her days playing fetch, getting cuddles, and being someone’s very best girl.

And there’s some extra good news: Beady’s adoption fee has been sponsored by the Sylvania Ohio Police Division in honor of Chuck Adkins, a dedicated volunteer at Lucas County Canine Care & Control. 🐾💙
