Rose Gold Photography Professional Lifestyle Photographer who specializes in birth and lifestyle photography. I have been working in the photography business since 2019.

I love to capture moments in time. My joy comes from setting up special moments for people and capturing it forever. As a mother myself I enjoy looking back at the memories captured of my own children. those pictures are far more valuable to me than any of my possessions. If I am not behind the camera you will probably find me building a castle with the kids, out on a bike ride, or binge-watching

Criminal Minds. I could sit all day doodling or getting lost in a DIY project; however, with two crazy kids tagging along, I am more creative about how to get my chill time. During 2020 we adopted a senior Aussie-doodle from the animal shelter and in 2022 our family grew even bigger, when we started our flock of chickens.

I seriously wish I could post every. single. picture. A best friend/ Kindergarten graduation session was so fun, I think the kiddos spent 90% of the time playing and about 10% realizing they are being followed with a camera. 🤣

I am opening up a date in November to do some mini-photography sessions at Riverbend park in Findlay, to fundraise money for Sufficient Grace Ministries. All the money will go straight to them, OR you can donate the $75 photography fee on their page and just show me your receipt.

Why should I donate to Sufficient Grace Ministries?

They provide "Perinatal hospice support for families receiving a life-limiting diagnosis in pregnancy and emergent support for those who experience the loss of a baby in any gestation."

But let me tell you, it is a beautiful group of people, ranging from high schoolers and a college fraternity (who are just a few of the amazing crafters btw) who help put together Comfort Bears, to bereavement doulas who sit by the bedside of grieving mothers, to a power house of incredible people working behind the scenes, walking with families during one of the worst and most difficult times of their life. They are non-profit, NEVER charging a family that they serve in the hospital.

I personally have been volunteering with them for the last year and have witnessed the comfort they have brought to families. Their babies matter, their name matters, and Sufficient Grace Ministries helps by walking with families through their grief.

With so many people looking for "fall mini's" and family shoots I would like to mention some advice. As a family lifestyle photographer my main goal is for people to leave my session smiling, and having fun. It can be so hard for families to feel like they have to constantly be perfect the entire time during a shoot. I mean you only have fifteen minutes for a mini session and the kids skipped their nap and are running around like crazy!

But my advice, let your kids be kids, catch them having fun, being silly. Any good photographer (and there are many in Findlay) will get that beautiful picture for your Christmas card, gorgeous memories to put in the scrap book, and your kids will leave the session not dreading the next one. There are so many pictures that get thrown out not because the kids are being kids, but because the adults look like they are in trench warfare 🤣

Sometimes to get the 1st pic, you need to have some of the 2nd. I just know I treasure the silly ones of my kids just as much if not more than the perfect FB ones, and many times its my grumpy face ruining it more than theirs 😅

So for your fall mini's, relax (as much as you can). Have fun, its a snap shot into your life and if yours is anything like mine a little crazy is par for the course.
