Photography has truly opened up a great big world to me. And my life hasn’t been the same ever since I started clicking. But it’s all of the interesting side quests that have started popping up which find me IN more photos than I’d ever imagined I’d be
Like this one from yesterday taken by my friend Andrew Newby of Toledo Spirits Company. Along this amazing journey I’ve been on since I boomeranged back to Toledo, I’ve also found I’m pretty good at organizing events. And on Tuesday myself and my friends were recognized by the City of Toledo for the work we did last June with the free Techledo Electronic Music Festival.
Not only was Andrew a valuable partner in pulling this entire day of Electronic Music celebration off, he was kind enough to come to see us receive our Resolution from Council and snap a pic of us in the moment. I LOVE capturing moments like that for my clients and am always prepared for the next opportunity. But today, I’d just like to be proud that I’m in one of these photos for a moment. Because it’s moments like these that I really understand why what I capture is so important to the rest of you. And I’m grateful for that wisdom.
