This fawn was lying in the shade of our trees about 4’ from our patio. I think this must be one of the triplets born in our community, but it was all alone. At first glance, I thought there were tics or some insects covering it! When I zoomed in, I could see they are little burrs.

This juvenile male (note the red spot on throat)ruby throated hummingbird was very active around the feeder Saturday evening! He was constantly getting chased by an adult male. I shot these around 7pm so the light was a little challenging🥴
