Lately, I’ve spent more time behind the camera than I have posting—and for good reason. 🤍

I’ve had the privilege of capturing some moments I’ll treasure forever… watching my own kids chase their dreams.

From long days at 4-H horse shows, to cheering Danica on at IEA Nationals in Texas, to watching Dylan reach another milestone at Cadet Summer Training graduation, my camera has been there to freeze moments that seemed to pass way too quickly.

As a photographer, I love telling stories. As a mom, these are the stories that mean the most.

I’m so thankful I get to preserve these memories—not only for other families, but for my own. Here’s a little glimpse into what has been keeping Barnlight Photography busy lately. ❤️📸

People always ask why I’m always at horse shows. The truth is, that’s where my daughter is.

Some of my favorite photos aren’t planned sessions—they’re the moments spent watching her do what she loves. The hard work, the determination, the wins, the lessons, and the memories made along the way are all worth capturing. ❤️🐴📸

Busy weekends like this are exactly why I love what I do 🤍📸

Saturday I followed my daughter to IEA Regionals—camera in hand, capturing every moment (and yes… probably way too many photos 😅). Every second was worth it!

Then Sunday took me to Rock N Boot Ranch for their annual special needs Easter egg hunt, and my heart was so full getting to document such a special day.

Never a dull moment behind the lens—and I wouldn’t have it any other way ✨

What do you do when you struggled with your camera over the weekend and you wanted to play with it before your son’s basketball game? You find the most difficult subjects in your house and make them pose for a photo shoot! It truly was like herding cats!!!
