Well. Itā€™s been quite the while since Iā€™ve posted. The reasons seem vast and blurry right now. But I do know that most of the reason is that Iā€™ve been doing a bit of self-reflection and reckoning on how photography fits in my life.

I am trying to be more intentional with my shooting; not sure thatā€™s been a success. But I have been shooting. Because when I do, itā€™s felt offā€¦and I am realizing that doing photography for the past too-many-years-to-count, has been a lifeline for me that has become tangled and too taut.

As I work to release these tethers, I see how engrained it has been and how much I need to resolve within this space. Photography offered me a way out of messy life things, in more than just a financial sense. It let me see beauty and reality and all the other not so pretty parts that come out of life.

And in that mess, I still want this. Just without the tethers that wereā€¦er, areā€¦tied to it.

Yo. All of that! To say mini sessions are coming at ya Oct 15 and 16. Dm me for first come first serve. Let me into your love, your messy, your all of you.

Friends, thereā€™s a lot of noise in our lives which can lead to missing what we have and being distracted on answering enough messages, making sure our kids are fed well (enough), the constant bombardment of ā€œself-careā€ (um, what?) and so much. So much!

Photos are a simple way of seeing the beauty thatā€™s right in front of you. Forever. Theyā€™re an anchor. Get your photos printed and on walls. Make them a mantra.
