Loved meeting the Santucci family on their trip to the Covered Wagon this week! Such a sweet family and Devyn I would love to do your senior photos out here next year ;)! Tucker the mule was very excited for another photo session (a few years ago he insisted in being in the Puckett's family photos as well). Such a fun morning. I hope you have a wonderful time in Montana!

I have been photographing Brayden since he was small...last night we did the first of his Senior Sessions. We headed to his family's ranch which is not only beautiful, it is also home of a ghost town, so the backdrops and possibilities for photos was endless! Brayden has committed to play football for the Griz next year. Had a great time getting to know the whole family last night! Thanks for taking me on an adventure!

Catching up on some sneak peeks! Another extended family session. We first did the Posthumous's shoot about 4 years ago when everyone was here to visit. It was fun to see how everyone had grown and recreate some of the images from their last visit!

It's been awhile since I've introduced myself and things have looked a little slow over here so I wanted to give an update!
First, for new followers, I've been a photographer for 15 years. I have loved photography since I can remember and after my third was born decided to take the leap and do it full time. My husband and I grew up in Ohio and moved to Montana (site unseen...before it was cool) way back in 1999! Twenty seven years later (TODAY! It's our MONTANNIVERSARY) we are still in the small town we landed in, Three Forks. When I'm not behind the camera or computer editing, you can find me at the gym, hiking, hanging with my family, reading or helping out at our other business.

Now for an update. While I was raising my now grown (and last one almost grown) girls, I photographed sports, families, seniors, weddings, branding...anything I could get my hands on! Five years ago (I think...maybe it was four)... we bought the business my husband has been at for 20 years, Steer In Trailer Sales. It's been a bit of challenge trying to balance my role there and my photography and I took quite a step back from my photography. Hence why it's been a little quiet over here (also I'm not great at social media). I am still here, still photographing, but my focus has narrowed quite a bit to families and seniors. I have made it a priority to focus on quality vs. quantity. I have my schedule so that weather and the unexpected twists of life allow my clients to reschedule without overwhelming myself or them, so that I am not constantly buried in editing, and so I am focused more on quality vs. quantity. I very much strive to make my senior sessions unique and special for each senior. I spend time finding locations and new locations and matching those with the personality of my senior. I don't want your senior photos to look like everyone else's. Family sessions can be stressful, not everyone is excited for them, I get it! But I also believe they are so important to have. So I try to make them comfortable, fun and relaxed. And also quick ;)! I deliver a gallery of both posed and candid images. My editing style is bright and natural. I don't typically follow the editing "trends" of photography.

If my style fits with what you are looking for, I do have some openings available at the end of this month and this fall! I will be hosting Fall Mini Sessions around the Three Forks Area. Those dates will be posted soon. Fall is busy season and we travel quite a bit so spots are very limited. If you are interested in a shoot contact me soon. I truly love what I do and I look forward to working with you!

A couple weeks ago I got to tag along on a trail ride at The Covered Wagon Ranch to capture some content photos. Here's just a few from that morning. The wildflowers were incredible; as well as the horses and wranglers. I'm not much of a horse person, think this was my second or third time on one!

As promised the evolution of getting the toddler to smile. Sadie really only wanted her pops and did not want to smile or look at me. We went from that to holding her treats with her pops, to maybe smiling with him and her treats to smiling as long as she had his hand to finally smiling with no assistance as long as the rest of the family was behind me cheering her on! I told them she's going to expect them all at every event she has growing up and I'm pretty certain they will all be there!
