An incredible evening lead by the articulate & charming Jennifer Garner, with Jose Andres sharing stories of breadcrumbs, gazpacho caliente, and mus! Icing on the cake was meeting Monica & Phil RosenthalđŸ€©
I wish my son could have been there tonight as he volunteered at World Central Kitchen after the Thomas Fire in 2017, and would have loved Chef Jose's childhood stories, travel challenges, and views on solving global hungerđŸ„°

A few of my faves from a morning in Joshua Tree NP.
Lots of close-ups of floura/fauna, sadly the wide landscapes were just not captured well on my phone. But I hope these make you smile 😀

Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful, generous, remarkable mum!
This photo is one of my all-time time favourites 😍 it isn't perfect or posed or highly 'edited' but it captures a quiet moment with my super-strong single-mom.
So the next time you lean away from the camera thinking 'It's not a good hair day' or 'I need to loose five pounds', please Please PLEASE let yourself be photographed. And Treasured. And Remembered.
Take A Photo today... be it of your own mom, or someone who is like a mother in your family, or maybe just something that reminds you of her 💕

The Plaza de Toros Monumental de Aguascalientes...
Aguascalientes is considered the heart of bullfighting in Mexico, deeply rooted in its culture as a "land of gente brava" (brave people). It is a major center and hosts significant spectacles, notably during the annual Feria Nacional de San Marcos. Bullfighting here is viewed as a sacred, traditional, and artistic ritual.

In Aguascalientes, the traditional Mexican rodeo is known as CharrerĂa, the national sport of Mexico. It is a unique cultural event with deep roots in Mexican ranching history.

As the "birthplace of CharrerĂa," the Feria Nationale San Marcos, features daily charreria competitions, dancing horses, and high-stakes bull riding, Cuernos Chuecos.

Calvillo is a charming Pueblo Mågico (Magical Town) located in the southwestern corner of Aguascalientes, Mexico, renowned as the Guava Capital of the World. Founded in 1778, known for its colonial architecture, guava-based products and the intricately hand-embroidered textiles known as deshilado.

Founded in 1575 as a strategic rest stop on the "Silver Route" between Zacatecas and Mexico City, Aguascalientes was historically a significant railroad hub. This central Mexican state and capital city is known for many things, but the one that stands out to me is the renowned, historic San Marcos Fair.
What started in 1828, has become the largest fair in all of Latin America!
