Hey friends.

It’s been a long time since I posted here. I’ve been with the kids, enjoying time with the family. Our core unit is breaking up with both of my boys heading to college and I wanted to be as present and available to them as I could be this summer.
But…..
One leaves today. The other in two weeks and it’s time I get focused on work…..even if only as a distraction for the empty house I am about to experience.

Any tips on how to move through life with an empty house are appreciated.

Fall sessions will be released soon. I promise. AND….
I am working on a few cute holiday sets.

Keep checking your emails for updates and I promise to be back in business in the coming weeks.

Let’s talk Newborn posing.

Newborn photography isn’t just about cute poses. It’s about safety, patience, and skill in every single session.

Working with brand-new babies requires:

*Deep understanding of newborn safety and physiology
*Proper posing techniques that support airway and circulation
*Patience to follow baby’s cues — never forcing a pose
*A calm, controlled environment designed just for them

Every image you see is created with baby’s comfort and safety as the absolute priority.

Training, experience, and ongoing education matter. Your baby deserves someone who knows not only how to pose — but how to protect.

If you are new to newborn photography I encourage you to find a mentor to follow and learn from. There are wonderful classes online but it is best to learn with hands on practice…with guidance and supervision.
