This photo almost didn’t happen. I was in it and trying to take it, coordinating my family, my sister’s kids, my mom, and realized I forgot the connector for my tripod. We set the camera on a nearby post, used the timer, tried it twice, and this was the best one.

It wasn’t easy and it’s not perfect, but this is exactly why I say it all the time just take the photo. Even when it’s hard, even when everyone isn’t fully cooperating, even when things don’t go to plan. You will never regret having it. *first pic - Me & my Sis (best friend/therapist/comedy partner)

You put in all that work to host an event and then it just… ends. No it doesn’t. Not if someone (ME) was there capturing every candid laugh, every good conversation, every moment your guests forgot a camera was even in the room. That’s what keeps the buzz alive after everyone goes home — and it turns out people are really, really cute when they’re having a good time.
