The sky really showed up on their wedding day 🌧️✨
Sure, the rain was a bummer—but the drama? Unmatched. From a torrential downpour to the most incredible sunset, it felt like the sky was celebrating right along with them. A wet knot is harder to untie, and these two are so deeply in love it just felt like a good omen. Proof that even the stormiest moments can lead to the most beautiful endings.

2025, you were full of heart.
Full dance floors, quiet moments, happy tears, and families showing up big.
I photographed weddings that felt deeply personal—days built around connection, not perfection—and I don’t take that lightly.

To every couple who trusted me with their memories: thank you.
This year reminded me why storytelling will always matter more than trends 🤍

Celebrating the Proposal Stories That Started It All 💍❄️

This season always reminds me how many love stories I get to witness from the very beginning.
The shaky hands holding the ring box, the deep breath before the question, the way time seems to stop when she says yes…
Being invited into those moments is something I’ll never take for granted.
To every couple who trusted me with your proposal this year—you gave me some of my favorite memories. Here’s to the spark that started your forever. 🎄💫

Celebrating You — Past, Present & Future ✨

As I’m wrapping up edits on wedding galleries (and reliving every laugh, tear, and dance-floor moment), I’m heading into my out-of-office week with a full heart.

Before I go, I want to say this loud and clear…

Thank you. I love you.

To my 2026 couples — thank you for choosing me. Congratulations on this beautiful season you’re stepping into. I cannot wait to celebrate with you, hype you up, laugh, cry, and turn your moments into memories you’ll cherish forever.

To my couples from this past season — you made my year. Truly. Your joy, your trust, your families, your chaotic bridal suites and emotional ceremonies and dance floors that nearly broke my camera straps… every single moment was a gift. Thank you for letting me witness the start of your marriage. I am still smiling editing your galleries, and I cannot wait to deliver every wonderful memory back to you.

To the couples I’ll meet in the coming year — I’m already excited. Your trust means everything, and I’m honored to be part of your story.

And to the couples I’ve worked with over the years — watching your families grow, hearing from you when you need your gallery pin (seriously, never hesitate!), and staying connected with you… that’s the real gift. Don’t be a stranger. 🤍

Here’s to celebration, gratitude, and all the joy this season brings.
I’ll see you after the holidays — with so many beautiful galleries ready to be delivered. 🎁📸✨

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is getting to see how each couple weaves little pieces of themselves into their day. Honestly, sometimes I feel like I need to hand out end-of-season awards… best entrance, best dance floor moment, best wedding favor (still thinking about Hope & Andrew’s custom made comic book—mine is proudly still in perfect condition).

And then there’s Alexa & Mitch, who absolutely nailed the “sneaky monogram element” award this year. These two took the first letters of their names and turned them into a wedding brand that perfectly reflects one of their favorite shared pastimes: A & M = Adventure More.

If you know them, you know how much they love to travel—especially exploring national parks together. So when I saw the custom sign their friend made for their wedding day, my jaw actually dropped. It was magnificent. And as a perfect finishing touch, each reception table had a smaller engraved sign with the name of a different park they’ve visited across the U.S.

It was meaningful, artistic, and so them. Truly the kind of detail that makes a wedding unforgettable. 💛🌲✨

Reed & Kelsie ✨
The perfect late–fall day for an engagement session—crisp November air, wooded trails sprinkled with vibrant leaves, and two people completely at ease in each other’s arms.

I adore these two. Their connection is so sweet and quietly romantic… playful, supportive, and full of that unmistakable “we’re home” kind of energy.

Celebrating this season of life with them was such a joy.
Congratulations, you two 🤍🍂

Interrupting our regularly scheduled wedding programming to share something extra special 💛

I got to take my son’s senior photos — and honestly, I’m still a little emotional about it. These aren’t your traditional senior portraits (because if you know Eli, you know “traditional” isn’t really his thing).

They’re him.
Laid-back, creative, a little bit brooding, and so full of personality.

Getting to photograph my own kid and capture who he really is at this moment — what a gift. 💫

Love you, Eli. Thanks for letting mom point a camera at you (again).

Let’s talk family photos — the part of the day that can get chaotic fast if you don’t have a plan.

Here’s how to make them smooth and stress-free:
1️⃣ Make a clear list of every group you want photographed
2️⃣ Choose a family member or coordinator who knows everyone’s faces
3️⃣ Tell your family ahead of time when and where to meet
4️⃣ Keep drinks and distractions far, far away during this time 😅

Your photographer will handle the posing — you just focus on smiling and soaking in those family moments.

☕️ It’s only 8am, and I’m halfway through editing a wedding gallery — so I’m taking a little breather outside with my coffee and the pups. If you know me, you know how serious I am about my coffee… and my mugs. 😄

This one’s new to the collection — and it’s extra special. At first glance, it’s a simple, beautiful mug, but if you look closely… it’s a sneaky little monogrammed gem that came from one of my sweet couples, Alexa and Mitch. 💛

Their wedding favors were perfect: thoughtful, personal, and not at all “wedding-y.” Each one said “Adventure More,” which couldn’t fit them better. These two are travelers, explorers, and partners through every kind of adventure — near and far.

I’ll tell you more about their incredible day (and the stunning details that brought that theme to life) in another post, but for now… I’m just feeling grateful. Grateful for mornings like this, for couples who pour their hearts into their day, and for mugs that remind me how lucky I am to do what I do. 🌿✨

Do you really need full-day wedding coverage? 🤔

Short answer: usually, yes.
The story of your day starts long before the ceremony and ends with dance floor chaos and sparkler exits.

Having your photographer there for the full story means you’ll remember the little moments too — laughter while getting ready, grandma’s hug, your best friend tearing up during speeches.

Photography isn’t just about the big moments. It’s about every emotion in between.

Think of your engagement session as a practice run for your wedding photos — but way more fun. 💍

You get to:
✨ Learn how your photographer directs and interacts
✨ Get comfortable in front of the camera
✨ Create gorgeous, personal photos that feel like you

By the wedding day, you’ll be total pros — relaxed, confident, and fully present.

Pro tip: Schedule your engagement session 6–9 months before your wedding so you can use the photos for save-the-dates!

Here’s the secret to natural, emotional wedding photos:
💛 You have to trust and feel comfortable with your photographer.

You’re with them all day — through quiet getting-ready moments, family chaos, and that just-married magic.

So when you’re choosing your photographer, don’t just look at the photos. Ask yourself:
✨ Do I vibe with this person?
✨ Do I feel safe being myself around them?

If the answer’s yes — that’s your person.
