I enjoyed photography for many years as an amateur, in 2012 with encouragement from friends and family, I took the leap and began offering images for purchase to the public. It was a scary leap, but has been rewarding as many of those who purchase my work have become friends as we share a love of the subject. I spend as much time as possible exploring wild scapes and finding wild creatures. I have

a strong passion for the wild mustang and spend a good amount of time documenting their lives in the Red Desert and other HMAs around Wyoming, Colorado, and Montana. In addition, I occasionally shoot ranch horse competitions, and am available for family or pet portraits. As a photographer a great deal of my time is spent learning what a camera can do, the always new and changing techniques in photography, as well as development of images, and how to capture that magic moment in a way that will make it as real for you, the viewer, as it was for me, the photographer. I hope you enjoy the images here and am honored by every purchase... because I want to ensure the best possible experience for my clients I would love to hear what you think about my images and your purchasing experience.

Checking In

I created this page so long ago when my life was much simpler and allowed for time in all kinds of wild places..... and one day I hope to return to visiting and sharing of many things.

But for now most of my time is in the story of wild horses.... spending time on the range with them, observing and documenting their lives and the things that effect that life, and advocating in however ways I know how and am able to do.
