How is everyone doing this season?

I feel like I'm finally coming up for air. 😅

Learning to worry less and trust more has been a huge focus for me lately! There is no sense in worrying twice about something. Tackle that bridge when you arrive at it. And trust that the things that come and go in your life are on purpose with purpose.

What we do is so much more than just show up and take pretty pictures. A lot of times, that disconnect is from us not being fully connected to ourself.

There are so many of us who walk around with doubt and insecurities. We have a hard time holding space and appreciation for all that we are and all that we have because we are too busy looking outward.

What if we put a blindfold on and truly dug deep. What if feeling and listening to ourselves could ground us and tune us in?

This is what I have found to be true.

Remember to breath deep. Find some quiet. Relax those shoulders.

I choose to surround myself with people that push me to do better. No drama or mess. Just bigger goals and higher vibrations. Good times and positive energy. No jealousy. No hate. Simply bringing out the absolute best in each other.

My time here in Texas has taught me so much! I realize that my only NEEDED relationship, is a healthy one with SELF. All the others should add value and not suck me dry. Making friends who have been able to meet me where I am at, hold space for me as I navigate the hard AND allow me to do that for them, has been balm to my soul!!

We always have a choice and I'm here to tell you that there is so much good and light when you recognize that which is not for you. Stop fighting the flow. Those people, opportunities, things meant for you, will always find a way into your life!

So humbled and amazed by the community of incredible souls I have found this year! And so excited for what the upcoming year will bring!

I know I sure am! 🖐

Our whole lives, a lot of us have allowed life's cruelties and the world's lies to deceive us about who we truly are! We HAVE to STOP focusing on what we ARE NOT and figure out who WE ARE!!! How can we believe in ourselves if we don't know who we are and the greatness that we are capable of? It's my wish that we may all come to understand our true identities. Only then will we be able to take our weakness and make it strong. Regardless of any disadvantage we face, we are capable of AMAZING and WONDERFUL things!

Full Transparency...

The last two months, we have been a work from home family. It has been HARD as hell at times! But so so rewarding!

Two months before that, I was ready to file for divorce. Not even kidding a little bit. I new I needed to make changes in my life and I couldn't be responsible for another person's happiness any longer (outside that of my boys of course).

I'm sharing this to show you that life can change at the drop of a hat. Constantly morphing and flowing if you let it. We have opportunities to learn and grow and become more true versions of ourselves every single day! The ability for more awareness and alignment are there for grabs, we just have to have an idea of what that looks like for us and continue taking one step forward at a time.

I am grateful for the lessons. Grateful for the hardships.

So blessed to have a partner who loves me enough to realize how much ne needed to learn to love himself in order to give me the love I deserve!!! And I have never been more in love nor proud of him!!!!

If you have been witness to the crazy that is my life, and you are still around, THANK YOU! Your support, love and understanding are more appreciated than you know!

You will come to know that what appears today to be a sacrifice will prove instead to be the greatest investment that you will ever make. Don't stop moving in the direction if what sets your soul on 🔥🔥🔥

For me, this direction has always been CONNECTION. 10 years ago, I picked up my very first camera. It was a safe way for me to push through the surface level life I had been living. It allowed me a glimpse into other people's lives. Helped me realize I am not alone.

None of us are!!

Whether I was capturing a birth, wedding, family, funeral, it didn't matter... every single one moved me. Every single one made me FEEL things. Things I so desperately needed!

This passion started out so small. Bite sized pieces and has grown into a raging fire over the years. I don't do what I do for love of photography. It's because I love people, and I will continue to hold space and provide safeness for all those I am honored to call clients and friends!

All the Light, Love, Awareness, Guidance, and Protection to these beautiful souls as they venture away from the space they've created for themselves the last while.

Change can be hard! Change that seems to go against everything we've worked towards can feel crippling. Confusing.

You find yourself asking God, "Excuse me? Could you say it again?

Maybe you go kicking and screaming. I know this has been me time and time again.

I don't always change gracefully.

But, one thing I've learned through all the change, is that it can be a beautiful thing if I let it.

If I'm not trying to manage how things all play out and just trust!

If you're brought to it, you're badass enough to walk through it.

And not just the, safely arrive at the finish line kind of walk either.

It's more of a walk that allows us space to make a real difference, not just for ourselves but those around us too!
