I began digitally scanning my family’s photo albums during the peak of the COVID pandemic. I had intended to only scan a couple hundred photos for a digital frame. Some of the earliest photos I found were of my great-grandparents. These photographs were in poor condition and very fragile. With delicate care and time, I was able to preserve, and enhance many of their photos in a digital format. Now I don’t have to worry about losing old family memories.
After scanning more than 7,000 photos spanning almost a century of my family’s history, I realized just how many photographs each family has tucked away. Digitally scanning your family’s photos allows you to keep them in prime condition forever, and share them with other family members at any time.
