Isabel Casiano
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on March 18th, 1962, she had lived a fulfilling life till the age of 59. She was a force to be reckoned with, her fierce, strong attitude was enough to stop anyone in their tracks. The crazy things she said always filled the room with laughter. And her loud, infectious laugh always warmed your heart. She always sought to protect and support her loved ones and when she loves someone, she protects them with her every being. She always put her family first and she spent the last years of her life continuing to provide care and love to our family till her last breath.
On April 29th, 2021 she had a sudden cardiac arrest. We know deep in our hearts she fought so hard, but even with her strong will to live, her body could not handle it no longer. God called for her and she beckoned, it was her time to go home to the Lord, for Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die (John 11:25-26). She took her last breath on May 5th, 2021.
We are mourning, but promise to forever cherish and celebrate her life. We were so blessed to have her in our lives as our mother, our protector, and our rock. For those of you who have reached out regarding our needs as a family during this painful time, know that we appreciate your support. If you are able to, please send funds, in any amount you're comfortable with, to help us pay for the funeral that she deserves. Know that your support means everything to us as we navigate this painful time. Nothing has prepared us for this immense feeling of loss and sorrow. We, as a family, appreciate the kindness you have extended to us.
