One thing about photography? You have to know how to pivot. S/O to my client who, planning this long distance, trusted my recommendations every step of the way.
The original plan: extended family portraits at Armstrong Park, followed by a surprise second line through the French Quarter to celebrate Daddy’s 70th birthday. Then the rain came.
I immediately had to put on my meteorologist hat days prior to track the rain. We had a Plan B, but now your girl needed a Plan C. 😓
Plans changed, locations changed, but the celebration went on. We moved the portraits indoors and even brought the second line inside Arnaud’s!
Sometimes the best thing you can do is adjust, keep things moving, and trust your photographer to make sure the moments still get documented.
