From college graduation to motherhood to becoming a wife.

It has been my honor to have a small place in so many seasons of your life. And what a beautiful story it’s been to witness.

Ready to document the season you’re in? Let’s talk.

A walk down memory lane! Six years. A whole lot of life. And I’ve been blessed to photograph so much of it.

This is what legacy looks like to me.

If this is the kind of photography you’ve been looking for, let’s talk.

It’s giving family reunion, public health girly edition.

A little look inside the Sisters in Public Health Welcome Mixer in New Orleans. Good food, plenty of catching up, and clearly no shortage of personality.

I am so grateful that my camera put me in the room.

That’s exactly how I felt after photographing the Sisters in Public Health President’s Dinner.

From my first interaction with founder Angela N. Frazier, MPH meeting the organization’s leaders, there was an instant connection.

Sisters in Public Health was created to empower, educate and support women in public health, and their mission landed with me personally. My own experiences have changed the way I think about health, advocacy and the importance of having community around you.

And that night, I got to see that community in real time. It was the celebration, the laughter, and the authentic sisterhood for meee!! Women genuinely rooting for other women. It was a beautiful thing to witness.

As a New Orleans event photographer, I get to document a lot of beautiful celebrations, but every once in a while, the work becomes personal too.

I came to photograph their President’s Dinner. I left grateful that my camera put me in that room.

Here’s to finding—and celebrating—the rooms where you feel like you belong. What kind of community has been that for you?

She said 40. I said say less. Come thru!

Stepping into a new decade deserves more than a birthday selfie. Baby you definitely understood the assignment.

What ways do you celebrate your birthday? Trip? QT with family? Taking a “me” day?
