✨ CLASS OF 2027 SENIOR STUDIO DAY ✨

July 11 | The Lumen Room

If you're the parent of an upcoming senior, now is the time to get ahead of senior year.

What many families don't realize is that once school starts, requests for photos begin coming quickly:

✔ Yearbook submissions
✔ Sports banners
✔ Cheer and drill team features
✔ Senior highlights throughout the year
✔ Graduation announcements
✔ Social media and milestone moments

Having beautiful images ready before the school year begins makes senior year so much easier.

I'm opening a limited number of appointments on July 11 at The Lumen Room for Class of 2027 seniors.

Each experience includes:

✨ 45 minutes in studio
✨ Professional editing
✨ Online gallery
✨ Access to additional image upgrades

Investment begins at $550.

Only six appointments are available.

Message me or inquire through my website to reserve your spot.

Some portraits feel less like photographs and more like a memory you somehow stepped into.

The kind that feel quiet.
Still.
Almost untouchable.

I think that’s why I loved this set so much.

The softness of the light.
The stillness of the water.
The way she looked completely present without trying to perform for the camera.

Not every image needs to shout to be powerful.

Sometimes the most beautiful portraits are the ones that simply let someone exist exactly as they are.

And years from now, those are usually the images that mean the most.

Senior year is almost over for

The tie.
The bare feet.
The missing teeth.
10/10 styling decisions honestly 😂 (he styled him and his momma for the shoot)

One thing I love about photographing kids is that the best photos usually happen when they are just fully themselves.

There’s something about the way babies look at their moms.
Like they already know who home is.

No perfect outfits. No complicated setup.
Just a tired mom holding her boy while he studies the world from her arms.

This stage is beautiful, but it’s also exhausting. Sticky hands, being touched nonstop, carrying them everywhere, never really sitting down. And somehow one day you realize they do not fit on your hip anymore.

What do you miss most about the baby stage?

Real motherhood rarely looks perfectly planned.
Sometimes it looks like showing up in shorts and a t-shirt after a long day of taking care of everyone else first.

No coordinated outfits.
No fancy prep.
Just a mom who almost didn’t get in the picture because life was busy.

And honestly, these became some of my favorite images from the Mother’s Day sessions.

Because years from now, her girls will not care what she was wearing. They will care that she was there. That she loved them. That she held them close in this season of life.

That is the kind of photo that matters. 🤍

The moms making the memories are usually missing from the photos.

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, and I keep thinking about how important these photographs become over time. Not because everything was perfect, but because they prove you were there. Loving them. Raising them. Holding everything together in the middle of the chaos.

One day your children will look back at these images and notice the little things:
The way you looked at them.
The way they fit in your arms.
The season of life you were all in together.

That is why photos matter.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women doing the unseen work, carrying the emotional weight, and still showing up with love every single day. 🤍
