October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Having family members who have been through this scary and evil disease I’m thankful for the reminder we put on the Vigo County Courthouse.

Here’s a glimpse of today’s work on Terre Haute Regional Airport property while waiting for some clouds to clear. This is in the heart of the Class D airspace and the no UAS zone surrounding the airport. I use ForeFlight for added situational awareness and ADSB data, a Sporty’s PJ2 radio to listen to KHUF’s control tower and a trained visual observer for these types of jobs. These items were also all part of this job’s authorization from the FAA, which took place well in advance of the actual shoot. ATC at KHUF were wonderful to work with and super friendly as always. I even offered them a post flight Fizzy Fuel from Corsair Cafe but they were a bit tied up, next time fellas. Understanding the airspace, aviation safety and manned aircraft performance and patterns are all part of proper commercial UAS work. I thank Century 21 Elite for the opportunity to put all of these items to work today on a gorgeous day for some flying.
