DAY 30/30
Hey everyone! As I'm sure most of you know, I recently took on a 30-day challenge to post content every single day. Spoiler alert: I didn’t make it the full 30 days. Here’s what happened.
The Challenge and the Setback
I kicked off the challenge with a simple plan: post one piece of recycled content every day. No new stuff—just things I’d already shared before. I wasn’t relying on holidays, busy traffic days, or even promoting my services. It was all about showing up consistently. And it was working—until life happened.
I lost internet for 3 days. Without my work PC connected, I couldn’t post. That broke my streak, and once the momentum was gone, I couldn’t get it back. I ended the challenge early because, honestly, picking up where I left off felt impossible. That’s the reality of doing it yourself: life happens, and one slip-up can throw everything off track. If I’d had a system—or better yet, a professional (like myself)—scheduling posts ahead of time, those 3 days wouldn’t have mattered. But managing it solo? It’s a grind, and a single hiccup can derail you.
The Results: Growth Even After a “Fail”
Here’s the crazy part: even though I didn’t complete the 30 days, the results from the days I did post were incredible. Check out these stats compared to the month prior:
828 Facebook visits – a 487.2% increase in traffic!
54 new followers – up 500% in growth!
17,719 views – a 285.8% jump!
720 content interactions – engagement spiked by 104.5%!
4,127 reach – visibility grew by 62.2%!
And the best part? I turned down 2 wedding bookings (Not booking anymore weddings this year.) and booked 4 concert shows for the summer—without even advertising those services. All this came from showing up consistently with recycled content. It wasn’t about perfection or new ideas; it was about being there, day after day.
Why Consistency is Hard (and Why It Matters)
This challenge shows firsthand how powerful consistency is—and how challenging it can be to maintain on your own. Even with recycled content, I had to:
Brainstorm: Pick something worth sharing that’d resonate.
Dig Up Content: Find old posts and tweak them if needed.
Plan: Figure out the best time to post.
Execute: Hit “publish” every single day (assuming the internet worked).
That’s a lot to juggle! Coming up with something every day takes time and mental energy—energy I could’ve spent on my actual clients or my family. Then, when I lost internet for 3 days, it all fell apart. The momentum I’d built vanished, and I couldn’t muster the motivation to start again. That’s the catch with DIY content: you’re at the mercy of your schedule, your tech, and your willpower. One misstep, and it’s game over.
Why Hiring a Pro Makes Sense
Now imagine if I treated this project like I would for a client of mine. I would’ve:
Scheduled everything upfront: Posts would’ve gone live, internet or not.
Managed the strategy AHEAD OF TIME: No more daily stress about what to post.
Saved me time: Hours freed up to focus on what I do best.
Hiring a pro means:
Effortless consistency: Your page stays active, no matter what life throws at you.
Better growth: Regular posts keep you visible and bring in leads.
Peace of mind: No more scrambling to come up with content every day.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking to grow your page and attract more clients, focus on the results rather than perfection. Consistency is key, even if it means reusing some of your best content. My own experiences show that it pays off. If you find yourself overwhelmed by the daily demands of social media, consider hiring a professional. It not only saves you time and spares you the headache of constant content creation but also ensures that your online presence remains active and engaging. Investing in someone who knows the ins and outs can yield better results than going it alone. Have you ever thought about outsourcing your social media? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 👇
