life update 👩🏻💻🎬🎞️🌷💌
this month has been FULL. every single day has been go go go. whether it’s 1–3 sessions, venue walkthroughs, coordinating, meetings, or events, i haven’t had a single day that hasn’t been filled with something work related. on top of that, i’ve gotten the opportunity to be the creative director and co-producer of a project coming up this month. it’s been so exciting, but also a lot of behind the scenes work, collaborating with amazing people and making sure everything comes together the way it’s meant to.
when it comes to editing and sending out galleries, just know this is what’s happening behind the scenes. i’m not someone who rushes work. i care deeply about what i deliver, and i want every gallery to reflect my best.
running a photography business is so much more than just taking pictures and slapping a filter on it. it’s constant communication, emails, scheduling, editing, posting, invoices, phone calls, meetings, coordinating… it’s a lot, and it all matters.
sometimes i find myself staying up until 2am working on galleries because there truly doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day to get everything done. but that’s also just part of what comes with this job, and i truly love doing it. if i didn’t, i wouldn’t be here pouring this much of myself into it.
when i say i’m a luxury experience wedding photographer, i mean that i care about your entire experience, not just the photos you receive. i want you to feel taken care of, seen, and valued through every step of the process, and that takes time, intention, and heart.
so this is just a little reminder to be kind, not just to your photographers, but to everyone in the wedding industry. there is so much happening behind the scenes that you don’t always see, and we are all doing our best.
