Ava || Class of 2026

Ava started riding a few years ago and wants to become an equestrian veterinarian, so it felt only fitting to bring her to the farm and let Cooper and Sage make an appearance for her Senior photos.

Ava's mom found me from a referral in a group post in San Diego, I remember texting her the morning of her session to warn her about all the fires that were started along the 15 freeway, as I knew she was coming from San Diego.

What I didn't know was there would be a fire next door to the farm during our session. What started as a small plume of grey smoke quickly turned into a full fire battle scene with fire crews on ground, helicopters and planes flying low dropping retardant close overhead...it was wild! Despite the loud chaos around us, you can't really tell from the photos 😆

Hey you. It’s younger you.

It’s April 28, 2014 and today feels uncertain.

You’re choosing the scary path and walking away from the “safe” job, the steady paycheck, the version of life that looks good on paper… and stepping into something completely unknown.

You have no idea where this one decision would lead you...

To high school seniors chasing their dreams.

To college grads closing one chapter and starting another.

To the quiet yes of a proposal, the joy of a wedding day and the anticipation of growing families.

To babies and toddlers who are now… somehow getting their driver’s licenses (how is that even possible?! 😅🤯)

Some have been here since the very beginning, growing alongside us.

Some are just stepping in front of our camera for the first time.

But every single story, every season, every moment …. it’s never lost on me what an honor this is.

So, to my younger self:
thank you for being brave enough to begin. ✨
