I have been back to work for almost two months now and just quickly want to share some of my favorite photos from a few of the sessions/weddings I have been able to document!! 😍

In case you weren't sure, I am still booking photoshoots for the rest of 2021.

I am about capped off for my wedding limit for this year. I might take one or two more, if it is the right fit and on one of my slow months I have left!

I saw a photo of a mom on her phone with her son next to her faded away..and it said "Your phone brings you closer to people far away but far from the people closest to you"... ouch. that hit a nerve, struck a cord, and still brings me to tears. I'm never going to get my time back. We don't get re-dos in life. We don't get to hit rewind in real life time and re-live these preciously fleeting moments. The days may feel long, but they fly by so so fast and there's just always something to be learning and growing in, that I think technology distracts us from. And that is why I have been off of instagram (and facebook for the most part) and have been LOVING it. Because even though I do miss hearing from you guys and seeing everyone's updates- I've kept in touch with my closest friends and family off of social media. It's been a huge weight off my chest, especially as we prepare for baby boy to arrive. I don't know how I could have gotten through the last two months if I had been on social media to be honest. I don't think I'll stay, probably deleting the app after this post but just wanted to pop on and update my page! We are doing good, still very pregnant! Got hit with covid in our house a couple weeks ago (just Taylor and I), but we are all back to health now. We are 11 days from his due date and are getting things ready for our home birth💙
Yesterday we took some in home maternity pictures with a self timer for my birthday and it was perfect and so relaxed and so fun💙 I haven't had energy (especially after covid) so the idea of a full maternity photoshoot at 38 weeks pregnant did not sound fun at alllllll. I'm so in love with these photos, I just had to share them.. that last one ughh loveee🥰 stretch marks and all!
Oaklynn is BEYOND ready and excited for her little brother, and this last season of just us three has been so beautiful and amazing and uplifting.
