For todayā€™s Tip Tuesdayā€”no Lightroom trickā€¦ this is a shooting tip.

Lighting can make or break your photo. It literally changes the entire vibe.

So hereā€™s whatā€™s happening:
Photo 1: I exposed for my couple ā†’ the sky blows outā€ØPhoto 2: I exposed for the sky ā†’ silhouette vibesā€ØPhoto 3: I exposed for the sky AND used flash ā†’ best of both worlds āœØ

I think we as a society have UNDERESTIMATED how much ā€œan arm and a legā€ actually costs šŸ˜‚
Because why did I just break my leg and find out itā€™sā€¦ aggressively expensive?? Likeā€¦ way more than my wedding packages šŸ«£

ā›”ļøDO NOT WATCH unless you want the perfect dip kiss photo at your weddingā€¦

The biggest thing you want to avoid?
Blocking your faces with the bouquet.

Iā€™ve seen this happen so many times over my 10+ years of shooting weddingsā€”and itā€™s such an easy fix.

So here are two options to get that perfect dip kiss photo:

Option 1:
Keep the bouquet in your outside hand as you twirl in, then keep it behind the head before the dip.

Option 2:
As you twirl in, switch the bouquet to your other handā€¦ and then drop your arm towards the ground!

Simple adjustmentsā€”completely different result.

Save this if youā€™re getting married or send it to a friend who is šŸ«¶
