I think sometimes we tend to forget that a wedding day it’s not just about you and your partner but it’s also very much about the humans you have chosen to have beside you on your wedding day. It’s pieces of these humans that make us, US. The little moments with your humans will forever be my favorite!

SHE SAID YESSSS!! O & G’s Joshua Tree Proposal was just about the cutest thing ever ✨ These east coast lovers took a romantic getaway to the California desert and little did O know that G had a big surprise in store for her! 😍 Can we talk about her ring?! This is your sign to join your cocktail hour ✨

If you’re looking to join cocktail hour so you can spend even more time with your favorite humans? There are a few ways this can happen!

1. Consider having a first look. When you have a first look before your ceremony, you can allot time for things like Wedding Party Photos, Family Photos, and at least the first part of Romantics for you and your honey! Thus allowing you to finish up some romantics during cocktail hour and hit the pre-party party hehe

2. Have an extended cocktail hour! Last summer I worked a wedding with a 2hr cocktail hour on a private estate and everyone was just happy to hang out. Kids and Big Kids alike playing games on the lawn, drinks were passed around and so much laughter could be heard!

3. If you’re not doing a first look, consider doing at least your individual wedding party photos before ceremony. Then make sure you have a good list and hire a wedding photographer who can get through ANY family shot list FAST. I’m not kidding, I’m pretty proud of my ability to keep family photos organized and quick. If you have a later sunset (spring + summer time), we can always pull you for sunset photos for Romantics and then you can at least join the end of cocktail.
