Wow! Lauren continues to blow us away with her bravery, work ethic, grace and talent. She auditioned with a new theater group () and got cast as Alice in Alice by Heart (an absolute dream role for her)! To say she did well would be an understatement. From day 1 she studied characters, put in the work to dive deep into the emotions and found relatable life experiences to add to her Alice. Even though we ran lines with her and became somewhat familiar with the show before it opened nothing could have prepared us for watching our “baby of the family” blossom into a young woman on stage before our eyes. you took Alice and made her your own. We are so proud! Your entire cast and crew created a beautifully told story about grief and loss and we will never be the same after watching it. What an amazing experience as an audience member and as a parent. I was truly honored to witness such a beautiful show!

Thank you to all of our family and friends who came out to support! I’m sorry I didn’t get pics of everybody! Your support means the world to us! As one book closes another one opens Lauren, but we know Alice will always hold a special key to your heart ❤️

My baby turned 15 today! What a year it has been! You started 14 by auditioning for your first professional show and being cast in your first professional production! You got u/s a dream role of Eurydice and hit the stage as a Fate in Hadestown. You then went on to compete in TN for country/gospel and rocked it. Next you promoted from 8th grade and watched your sister graduate highschool. You then got to be a character at VBS and got to share the love of Jesus with all you met. We took the greatest trip ever to NYC for 2 weeks where you learned more about theater and about your drive and passion for Broadway through BAA. You started highschool! Participated in the CA Regional premiere of Prince of Egypt and decided Musical Theater and Acting is what you were made to do and you committed to homeschool! Since October you’ve been working hard daily to reach your goals! You signed with 2 (TWO) talent agents who can see your bright future with clarity! Got your first audition and a dream role of Alice in Alice By Heart! What a year of growth, passion, focus, determine and pure JOY! I can’t wait to see what you do with 15!!!! We love you and are so proud of you! Continue to believe in Gods great plan for you and keep shining your light bright!

I went to make this post on Monday but became technology-challenged and then gave up because I couldn’t figure it out (should I post, reel or story? I wanted to add so many photos but the story wouldn’t let me!). At 2am I decided to make this post a few days late but it’s never too late to shout out and celebrate my beautiful girl Happy 19th birthday!! This year looks a bit different with you being away at school but I’m so grateful we got to get together and celebrate you. Jocelynn I’m so proud of the amazing young woman that you are and I pray that you continue to grow in your faith and your relationship with God, trusting in His plans for you. You are the best sister, wonderful friend, caring and thoughtful daughter and a bright light to all who get to be around you! You have made me proud and I am honored to be your mama and friend! Happy birthday and I love you!
