I almost waited.

But experience has taught me that these seasons move quickly. One moment we’re talking about summer plans, and the next the fields have turned gold and another year has quietly slipped by.

No built-in client base, no familiar faces, no guarantee that this dream would survive starting over from scratch.

What I found instead was community.
Families who welcomed me into their lives and trusted me to hold pieces of their story with care. Mothers who stepped in front of my camera unsure if they belonged there, and left seeing themselves differently. Children I’ve watched grow season after season.

As many of you know, I’m a clinical counseling graduate student.

What you may not know is that the same part of my heart that led me there is the very thing this work has always been built on.

My art has always been about intention and presence. About noticing what often goes unseen.

Clinical counseling is teaching me how to hold space for people in their complexity, their stories, their pain, their becoming & in many ways, that’s what I’ve been doing here all along. Just being witness to your story in a way that feels honest and safe.
