Being the official photographer for the Larimer County Fair is an honor I hold incredibly close to my heart. It’s so much more than documenting a county fair it’s documenting family, tradition, agriculture, community, and the moments that bring them all together once a year at the beautiful, newly redesigned ranch in Loveland.

As a child, I spent 10 years in 4-H, and the county fair was always the biggest event of the year. Some of my fondest childhood memories and some of my dearest lifelong friendships were born in those fairgrounds. The anticipation, the hard work, the animals, the families, the laughter, and the pride are memories I’ll always carry with me.

Now, I have the incredible privilege of seeing the fair through a different lens—literally. To document these moments for the families and community who make this tradition so special feels like coming full circle.

Every time I pick up my camera at the Larimer County Fair, I get to relive a little piece of my own childhood while preserving memories for the next generation.

And that is an honor I’ll never take for granted. 🤎
