We have so much planned for the holiday season! 🎄🎁 Each Saturday in Jonesborough from Nov. 27 - Dec. 18 there will be a variety of events from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. including caroling, visits with Santa, music, storytelling and extended holiday shopping hours in Tennessee’s Oldest Town.
🛍🛍🛍 Kicking off Nov. 26, we're hosting Jonesborough's Shop Small Weekend. and support downtown Jonesborough merchants!
💚💚💚 Dress as your favorite Whoville character and get a “grinch treat” at Whoville Christmas this Saturday, Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
😋😋😋 Jonesborough's Gingerbread Village - Drop Off returns!!! Pick up for participants are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the International Storytelling Center for 50 houses. Individuals can participate by picking up a free gingerbread kit or make their own gingerbread house and drop off to be displayed in shops downtown. Drop off is Dec. 1 at the International Storytelling Center from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
✨✨✨ Saturday, Nov. 27 will conclude with Jonesborough's Lighting of the Tree in front of the Washington County Courthouse starting at 6 p.m. Music and storytelling will lead up to the event.
🐶🐶🐶 Christmas is going to the dogs!!! Bring your furry friend to Doggone Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pictures with Santa, a treat station and shop at the Christmas Market for pet friendly items! At 1 p.m. there will be contests including Ugliest Christmas Dog Sweater, Best Holiday Costume and Pet/Owner Lookalike.
🎅🎅🎅Join us for Santa’s Christmas Village on Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout town! Key locations include the Jonesborough Visitors Center and Emporium and the International Storytelling Center. This year, children will be able visit Buddy’s Workshop to make their own masterpieces to take home with them, with the assistance of area artisans and crafters. 🎨 Attendees will enjoy free pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, children’s storytelling, games and more.
☃️☃️☃️Join us for the best nighttime lighted parade in the region, 2021 Jonesborough Christmas Parade! Make festive memories with family and friends while you spend the evening in everyone’s favorite historic downtown on Dec. 11 at 6 p.m..
⛪️⛪️⛪️The Christmas in Olde Jonesborough series wraps up on Dec. 18 with the Christmas Church Stroll from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stroll through Jonesborough and visit participating churches in the downtown historic district. See their beautifully decorated sanctuaries and enjoy music, hand bells and historic information.
