Last night around 11, my aurora app started giving me alerts to look outside. I did and saw that we were covered in clouds. So, I grabbed a camera and drove east up highway 299 to get up higher. I stopped along the freeway to take some test photos. The moon just crested the mountains behind me and lit up the hillside. A car also drove through my frame.
