Meet Bekah and Milo 👧👦

A few years ago, I stepped away from photography to soak in a season I knew would pass far too quickly—being a mom to my own little ones. I traded late nights editing and weekend weddings for bedtime stories, baby snuggles, messy hands, and moments I never wanted to miss.

And while I stepped away from my camera, I never stopped seeing the beauty in the little moments. In fact, becoming a mom only deepened my love for preserving them.

These two reminded me just how quickly seasons change, how precious the ordinary moments are, and why photographs become some of our most treasured possessions.

Now, as I return to photography, I’m bringing that same heart with me—to capture the smiles, the love, and the fleeting moments that families want to remember forever.

Thank you, Bekah and Milo, for giving me the reason to pause… and the inspiration to begin again 💕

I’m so excited to finally share something I’ve been working on behind the scenes…

Welcome to Sunrise Side Photography!

After taking some time away from photography to focus on my own growing family, I knew that when I came back, I wanted it to feel like more than just picking up my camera again. I wanted to create a brand that reflected who I am, the kind of memories I love capturing, and rooted in the place I love.

From the beautiful shores of Lake Huron to the families, milestones, and everyday moments that make this community so special, the "Sunrise Side" has always been home. It only felt right that my new business name would honor the place where I live, raise our family, and continue telling the stories of others.

This new name represents a fresh start, but it also carries everything I’ve loved about photography from the beginning—the laughter, the little details, the love between people, and the fleeting moments that deserve to be remembered.

I’m beyond excited for this next season and can’t wait to meet new families, reconnect with old friends, and create beautiful images that tell your story.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. I can’t wait to show you what’s coming next!
