Be aware that fires break out this time of year. There’s only 1 entry point with 2 roads leading to the Keys, and they do close them when the fires and smoke inhibit driving. Another reason we highly recommend hiring local. Be safe, and know where your vendors are based. My daughter had her dash cam on when she came home from college last night. She made it through on US 1 but Card Sound Road was closed. Definitely a scary thing to see. So glad she’s home safe and sound.

A little Mother’s Day love at Foraged Islamorada. I had such a wonderful time at their workshop yesterday. There’s still time to pick up some darling gifts for the special moms in your life. I’ve still got my eye on that hat I saw there.

Sometimes plans change and instead of a photoshoot of nesting birds in Boca, Scott joined me to visit the wildness of Bud-n-Mary’s Marina followed by lunch next door at Lazy Days. Gotta love Islamorada. 💕 Art Guild of the Purple Isles
