I've been busy preparing for the Off the Beaten Path Art Tour on February 11 and 12 in Lake County, and I've assembled a group of prints from the analog (film) days as well as my early days of digital.
Prints include:
The Swimmer Series, images shot underwater in pools in the mid 1980s til the early 1990s. Cibachromes and Hand Colored Silver Prints.
Sweeter Than a Watermelon Dream, slices of life in the South: the combination of people and food: in markets, restaurants, and family reunions, many in the places where I grew up. Hand printed b/w gelatin silver prints, archival processing. Included are the last three handmade prints of "Harvey's Dinette," my most successful photograph. Late 1970s through 1990s.
Polaroid Transfer Prints, medium and large format images printed on Arches watercolor paper of a variety of subjects including still life, street photography and botanicals. Handmade by artist.
"American Roadside," a collection of 20x30" C-prints of scenes found along the roadsides in southern Georgia, north Florida and and the Little Haiti area of Miami. Digital captures, lab printed.
"Fourteenth Honeymoon," a collection of mostly digital images, lab printed, from France and Spain in 2004 and 2005. Images are 10x15" printed on 12x18" paper, sized to use a standard 16x20" frame.
Additionally there are Cibachrome prints of studio still lifes I created using an 8x10 view camera in the late 1980s.
Something for everyone at prices you can afford ... well, most of them. February 11 and 12, 2023
