🐾 A quick word from Roxy, Pawffice Manager 🐾

I’ve noticed we’ve had quite a few new faces joining us lately — HI, WE’RE SO HAPPY YOU’RE HERE! 🤎 — so I’ve decided it’s time to go over a few of Mom’s policies.

I’ve recently promoted myself to Head of Client Relations & Treat Acquisition, and I take my position very seriously.

1. Your session is not officially booked until your contract is signed AND your non-refundable retainer is paid.

Sending an inquiry, choosing a date, or receiving a booking link does not officially reserve your session. Your date is secured once both your signed contract and retainer have been received.

In simpler terms: No contract + no retainer = no treats. 🐾

2. Booking links will now be held for 48 hours.

We’re heading into Mom’s busiest season of the year, which means everyone is booking updated family photos, fall sessions, and holiday photos. 🍂🎄

Once Mom sends you a booking link, you’ll have 48 hours to sign your contract and pay your retainer. If your booking isn’t completed within that timeframe, the date will be released and made available to someone else.

This helps Mom keep her calendar accurate and makes sure dates aren’t being held when another family is ready to book.

3. Response hours are Monday–Friday during normal business hours.

Mom will respond to messages, emails, and inquiries as soon as she can during the business week. Evenings and weekends are reserved for family time, sessions, weddings, editing…and, most importantly, paying attention to me.

I already share her with all of you enough. Please respect my time. 🐕

4. And finally, this one is personal.

If I happen to come along with Mom to your session, I expect a proper hello and pets once she is finished working.

Mom says this is absolutely not an official Rebecca Marr Photography policy.

I disagree. It is an official Roxy policy. 😂

Failure to comply may result in judgmental staring, dramatic sighing, and me telling Mom not to send your gallery. (Apparently I don’t have that kind of authority…yet.)

I would also like everyone to know that I accept payment for my administrative services in the form of cheese, treats, and unauthorized bites of Mom’s dinner.
