I remember as a kid watching my grandpa take photos and use all of his gear. I loved watching him develop photos in a dark room, he was so meticulous and precise, everything had a purpose and that was to expose the image.

So naturally, I spent hours trying to be just like him. I wanted to learn everything about photography.

When I was younger, photography was a pastime, but certainly not one that I took seriously. It seemed too far away to be a reality. Now that I am older this has become my driving force. It brought me so much joy and pleasure that I just kept going. I had a purpose.

Instead of idling by or goofing off, I was doing something meaningful, creative, and productive.

Photography has taught me so much about having goals and following through with them. Every time I photoshoot, it felt euphoric, like I had just created a masterpiece!

Now that I live in FL it's time to start creating again.
