I wasn’t looking for these. I just knew they were there.

They’ve lived quietly in my mind for years, leaving behind their imprint.

There’s nothing particularly remarkable about them, and yet… they are everything I know as my childhood. The in-between moments. The ones where I wasn’t perfectly posed, wasn’t wearing the smile I practiced in the mirror a thousand times.

Just me, as I was.
And somehow, those are the images that hold everything.

Maybe that’s the point of photographs…
not the moment you prepare for, but the one you almost miss.

That’s the story.
And it’s one I’m always honored to capture for you.
