Two passions. One purpose. 💛📸🍎

Most of you know me as the photographer behind Captured by Mallary. What many of you may not know is that I’m also an elementary school teacher.

This fall, I’ll be returning to the classroom to teach Science and Writing, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Just like I strive to create meaningful experiences for my photography clients, I want to create a classroom where my students feel inspired, safe, and excited to learn every single day.

From 13 to Sweet 16… watching Ra’Mya grow into this beautiful young woman has truly been such a full circle moment for me. 🥹✨

I still remember photographing her 13th birthday session, and now here we are celebrating her Sweet 16. Time really does fly.

Ra’Mya is truly such a gem. She’s sweet, respectful, well-rounded, confident, cultured, and has some of the BEST music taste ever 😂🎶. She carries herself with such grace while still knowing how to have fun and let her personality shine. The perfect balance.

Seeing her blossom into the young lady she is today has been so special, and I’m beyond grateful that I’ve been able to capture these milestones for her family over the years.

Happy Sweet 16, Ra’Mya! 💕 Keep shining exactly the way you do. The world is yours.

Keshay definitely understood the assignment 🎓✨

This graduation session was such a vibe. From the looks to the location to the energy, everything came together so good. Keshay was proud, confident, and fully in the moment, and that made this session even more special to capture.

We had great music, lots of laughs, and the best time creating these images. I love sessions like this because they are about more than just taking pictures. They are about celebrating the hard work, the growth, and the milestone.
