I was reminded, today, just how fragile and fleeting this life can be. Over a year ago, amidst celebrating another year surmounting this mortal coil, I made a silent pledge: each event and gathering, capture more. -smiles, more camaraderie... more faces. -No matter which device, the big guns or the little phone, yours or mine, it is about capturing Life... "on duty" or not.

Make no mistake,this not-so-meager feat takes practice and forethought, and I am Disappointed in myself and must admit I have been inconsistent with my Promise. This brought me to my knees earlier.....

So, now I must renew this vow - to the tulip family and Friends - whether I'm working or not, I'm always ON DUTY. (at least until I've taken one shot of each person present!) ;)

Crappydoo! Power just went out again, building wide. (Btw, I'm in a 100+ yr old cigar factory.)
Power co is called: if we are not back in biz in an hr I will have to come back after class tomorrow.

After much deliberating and frustration, I have finally succumbed to switching my web host. The studio's website has been difficult to manage for a number of years, and the last few weeks have been spent pulling my hair out over redesign & coding errors. The URL hasn't worked in months, so I'll transition AND do a quick build with Zf and spend the next several weeks fine-tuning the site, overall. Probably longer. =P
A new "proper" URL will be acquired later, so stay tuned.
