"Island Rain" People who no me really well no I have a love hate relationship with Anna Maria Island, however after being chased off the beach at Longboat Key by heave rains before sunrise I made the decision to move north to Anna Maria Island which is just up the road to capture the sunrise there. I was not disappointed. This was 30 second exposure with a 6 stop ND filter on my lens.

"Before sun-up" This image from Longboat Key in Florida was taken before there was en a trace of the upcoming sunrise. With my ISO at 400 and a nearly 2 1/2 minute expose I did some light painting with my flashlight on the beach and water in the foreground. The bright lights in the background are from Sarasota.

"Boat dock on Lake Parker" Lakeland Florida

My favorite from this morning's outing. This Boat dock saw a steady stream of boat traffic however I was able to get a few minutes with boats launching to get this image. The lighting on the dock was from the streetlamp by the boat ramp which provided illumination against a fairly dark scene. If you like what you see please like or comment.
