Being his mom is the one thing in my life that feels the most natural. NOT because it’s easy honestly some days are exhausting BUT more so because I never question it. I never wonder if I’m meant to be his mom.

What’s hard is trying to be everything else at the same time.

It’s being a wife after giving every ounce of yourself to someone all day. It’s missing your friends and wishing you had more time and energy to show up for them. It’s trying to remember who you are outside of motherhood and making space for that person too.

When I’m taking care of him, I know exactly who I am.
