One of the things I prep my family's to do for their session is to have fun with their babies and to let them be children. I am child led for family sessions, which means I get a lot of inspiration from your babies. They are fully in the moment and want to have fun - so I encourage parents to get on their level and see the world from their point of view.

Dirty feet and hands.
Picking flowers and giving them to one another.
Playing tag.
All the snuggles and cuddles.
The doggy licks.
Wet clothes from the morning dew.

There was a beautiful calmness when I entered the home of Prem and Kelly. Their home is a stilt house with huge beautiful windows that faces the sunset. It was around that time the day of their session, so golden rays were shining through the windows, creating scattered shadows that made all their details pop. Their home could easily be published in a magazine.

Their furbabies were full of love and curious about their surprise house guest. What a lucky life they lead. So much open space to frolic.

It's so special to be invited to someone's home to capture their love story. Only a chosen few get to see the inside of someone's home - so to be able to photograph such fleeting moments is precious.
