I have avoided planning a random beach/pool day this week because it’s Florida and the forecast is sporadic as hell. 100% chance of rain? No rain. 0% chance of rain? Jk, you’re getting rain all day.

The excitement is back. The anxious excitement. The butterflies in your stomach that won’t settle. Because something big is happening. I can’t place my finger on it but I can feel it.

Toying with the idea of summer minis. But make them themed. Some of my all time favorite photos of my kids that I have taken are these summer mini sessions. I’m thinking they’ll be kids ONLY.
So if you’re the mom that missed school photos ordering, OR you’re the mom that always orders those school photos, these are for you. Just think they will be a way to freeze time

Picture this:
Huge bang. Followed by a few smaller clatters.
“ARE YOU OKAY?! Is everything okay?!” Literally every person in the house screams while moving towards the sound.
This is our house. Nobody goes unnoticed, no sound goes unclaimed, and nobody has to worry that they aren’t cared for. It’s one of my favorite things about our family. It seems so silly but teaching them to be caring, thoughtful, empathetic humans is one of my proudest moments as a mom.

Beach sessions and light will always be my favorite. Between chasing birds, the wind, the golden colors and the textures, I LOVE it so much. I am lucky to be able to call the beach my place of work, and I never take it for granted.
