Nothing like the mountains at sunrise. This photo I snapped up on Guardsman Pass (Wasatch Mountain Range)at sunrise. Boy, I was up there. The Pass is at 9,000 ft. Yikes! Trying out my new camera. I'm finally crossing over to the mirrorless system. So far so good, I'd say, but it's still early.

What a pleasure supporting Encore's Second Annual Back to School Event. From the free backpacks, school supplies and the salon experience, who wouldn't be excited about retuning to the classroom. Right? A big thank you to the guys from Paul Mitchell, The School Tampa and licensed hairstylist, Catrina Loggins for their time, effort and skill in helping the kids look their best. A little summer social as July winds down at Encore's Ella Greenspace put on by CDM (Carla Danielle Marketing). What a festive evening with Citi Ice creating some delicious "traveling tacos" while the kids bounced their hearts out in a giant bounce house courtesy of Iturri Rentals. And for everyone's listening pleasure DJBG kept the music light and lively. Thank you, Carla, for the opportunity to capture this fun community building event. Celebrating 5 years of brotherhood and summer birthdays with a photo shoot. Just too handsome for words. Love Ballast Point for active sibs. A lot of shaded green space to move around in is perfect. And the horses meandering around in the adjacent corral is always such a nice backdrop. Of course, incorporating a little soccer action is a must because it is World Cup Tournament time. https://bwalsh.photography

Memorial weekend family gathering down in Sanibel. What a beautiful setting with it's pristine beaches, plethora of seashells and of course sunshine! Took some time out to capture a few casual family pictures as well. Feeling truly blessed in so many ways.

Finally made it to Niagara Falls. What an incredible side trip from Perrysburg, OH (visiting our amazing 93 year old aunt)to the Great Niagara Falls. The falls did not disappoint. Interesting fact, my parents honeymooned in Niagara Falls probably 81 years ago. Apparently it's dubbed the "Honeymoon Capital of the World." Who knew!?! Regardless, it's definitely a "must see anytime destination" in my book.

In commemoration of Mother's Day-a shoot for just the "moms." Such a lovely family and what a special time to capture. I have to mention here that in the first photo the little one is actually looking, and quite intently, at a photo album of pictures from her first year. Grandmother and photographer-how lucky am I? What a lovely shoot capturing my granddaughter as she was preparing to leave for her Father/Daughter Dance at SMS. So special. She's growing up way too fast. Bittersweet to say the least.
