I am a photographer in Tampa specializing in lifestyle, event, family, and wedding photography. I work together with my husband to ensure one of us is always available to capture your special moments! A little about me... Photography is my passion -- and the same goes for traveling, my family, and my dog. I am recently married and loving every moment of it. My journey has been a long one, though,
and my photography business didn’t spring up overnight. Like most young adults, I was unsure of what I wanted to do career-wise. All I knew was that I wanted a job that would give me the opportunity to travel and make people happy in some way. Well, when I finished college I was still unsure of what I wanted to do for a living, and I figured that pursuing an MBA would lead me closer to that feeling of passion. It was not until over ten years of work experience in the financial industry that I came to realize I’d had the answer all along. It turned out that I’d begun living my dream years ago when I took pictures while I was studying abroad in college. Capturing images of real life, and of real people exploring, made for a great escape -- and I realized that I truly loved photography! In fact, if I had someone take a picture of me with my camera, there wouldn’t be any need to explain how happy I’d be. I remember when I purchased my first professional camera like it was yesterday, back when all I wanted was to capture the beautiful images I was going to see in Paris. From that experience, I became addicted to both photography and traveling. My friends and family actually describe me as a woman who won’t stop traveling, and who can’t leave the house without her camera. I don’t take my education for granted, nor have I cast aside all the years I devoted to the financial industry. These experiences have helped me in so many ways and I believe that they have shaped me into who I am today. Now I have an amazing opportunity to dedicate this chapter of my life to photography, and I can honestly say that the essence of this “about me” section is about how happy I am to be able to photograph all the amazing people I have met in my years as a photographer. In my opinion, giving people beautiful images of themselves is one of the most rewarding feelings out there. My goal is to create a fun and comfortable environment in every session, in order to bring out all my clients’ unique personalities. Nature and distinctive art often make up the scenery in my pictures, and I like to use natural light to capture the beauty, emotion, and color of the moment. My heart beats like crazy each time I go through my images and remember the good times my clients and I had during the photoshoot. My photo shoots are fun and exciting, and my work is simultaneously consistent and unique to each client. I spend a lot of time brainstorming and scouting out new locations so that I can offer all my lovely clients a special experience. What’s more, I take my time with each shoot, making the experience as enjoyable as possible so that I can catch my clients in candid moments. The entire process, including lighting, camera and, my subjects are always exciting and keep me engaged in the process. There is never a moment when I am not looking forward to my next shoot!
