Maternity photos + dogs = pure beauty and happiness.

Ana reached out to me a few months ago asking if I had availability and experience with maternity photos and if we could book a shoot at the beach for her and her fur babies. Of course I do have some experience and I couldn't say no!

Olivia and Rolo were so happy to be in our shoot together and made for amazing models with their mama. The session itself was gorgeous and colorful, allowing me to use the backdrop to accentuate the beauty of the photos and subjects.

We had a gorgeous and dramatic sunset that was the cherry on top of a stunning photoshoot. Ana purchased a folio box to showcase these images and she wanted every photo from this session. In total 39 photos are in that folio box and which will be displayed in her home. I can't wait to see the final product for this shoot!

Yesterday aria and I went out with our friends and I finally got to practice using the new camera!

It’s been raining constantly. Case in point this is the trail and it was ankle deep water. 😂 but man did my dog enjoy her time. The second she hits water her brain breaks and zoomies ensue.

I can confidently say I wouldn’t have been able to capture this in only 2 tries with my other camera, the autofocus is insane on this thing and I’m so excited to put it to action in shoots!

2 years of manifesting can really do such incredible things for you.

Stepping up from the Sony a7riii will come with a major learning curve. But considering how horrible the weather and lighting conditions were, I couldn’t be more pleased with how it performed just out by our house at 7:45pm

There’s so many functions I need to work through and set to make action photography better but I’m excited to spend all weekend learning just every possible thing I can.

I don’t think words can quite encapsulate the feelings I have right now. Gratitude and excitement are the first two that come to mind though.

The future is looking like 30fps and 3 second pre-capture.
