📸 ABOUT THE IMAGE! 🏈

November 3rd, 1980.. Monday Night Football.. Week 9.. 80,000+ attendance.. Cleveland Municipal Stadium.. I was one of those in attendance that night to watch the Cleveland Browns beat the Chicago Bears 27-21.

This image was taken on a 6x7 RB67 Film Camera with a 65mm Sekor Wide Angle Lens mounted on a Majestic Tripod. The image was a time exposure of Clevelands own Brian Sipe receiving the snap at the beginning of a play.

The image is titled “Cardiac Kids.” This is a first time limited edition print that will be made available on the Robert Williams Fine Art Store this afternoon! Today is the day the Browns and the Bears meet at the FirstEnergy Stadium, 41 years after I created this moment in time.

📸 Story Behind the Image 🖼
This is an image I captured of Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in Nova Scotia. In order to capture this panoramic, I waited 3 days for the perfect sunrise alongside my dear friend and fellow photographer Bernard Gratz. Interesting fact: during the day the lighthouse is a post office. The post workers stamp a special seal on tourists' postcards and letters to send to their loved ones at home. This 9 foot long panoramic picture hangs in a physician’s board room in Northeast Ohio. I recommend anyone who gets a chance to travel to Nova Scotia to check out this phenomenal lighthouse!
