My love for photography began in the darkroom (processing film and making prints) during elementary school. After graduating from Florida State University's BFA Art Program, I decided to dive into freelance photography. I've completely held on to my love of film while embracing the amazing advancements digital photography has given us. That being said, I shoot film and digital at most weddings. Fi

Lauren and Daniel bring the nostalgia with candy cigs. I captured it with the 35mm. I really love a good party and this is one of the last shots of an epic one. Jackets off, dress has been cut for dancing purposes, wine has been spilled and the candy cigs are out.

Juliet is one and she has opinions! This girl knew she wanted on the playground with the big kids and was really questioning the adults decision to make her take a few photos on the trails while the playground was RIGHT THERE!

The joy when she got to climb, ver very cute and she’s so proud. Get it girl.

Bits and pieces from last February. Website updates taking me back in time. Honestly, the weddings over the last few years have really ruled. I think couples are really being true to themselves and throwing celebrations that reflect them. Love it.

Please don’t let ChatGPT write the toast for your friend’s wedding. I will spare you my full ChatGPT rant but I feel the need to share this... Your friends, family and guests want to hear from YOU. I know it can be nerve wracking to give a toast in front of a lot of people. I have given them and I’ve witnessed so many, as you can imagine. Over the years I’ve noted a few things about toasts but the main two are:

1. It shouldn’t be too long
2. It needs to be from YOU.

If you are reading a toast that wasn’t written by you it will show. Something about it will feel a little flat and empty. Use YOUR words and tap into YOUR feelings without fear of your emotions taking over because guess what, that makes for great pictures and a memorable moment for the person you are speaking to. Trust me.

Major website updates, looking back on the last two years. Carlee and Max ❤️ A hot, but really beautiful day almost one year ago.

I try to keep my website relevant, showcasing some of my favorite photographs from the last two or three years but man it’s hard! Time flies and it’s so hard to choose from so many collections. A good problem to have.

As I’ve been visiting St Marks with only film cameras… I’ve photographed a few strangers. This magical spot attracts people for so many reasons. A bird watcher (first shot) and a fisherman (second shot) among many.
