Since moving to Florida, my daughter has fallen in love with English riding—and we truly couldn’t have landed at a better barn.

I brought my camera along to last month’s show and captured a few moments from riders who have quickly become familiar faces and friends. It felt refreshing to document something a little different—yet still rooted in the same storytelling I love.

I delivered my last gallery to a client this past weekend.

It has been a great year and a half here in North Carolina for my new photography business. I was lucky enough to photograph 30 wonderful families and hopefully fill their walls with timeless memories.

I can't thank all of my clients enough for choosing me to document your lives. It's truly been amazing!

My husband is retiring from the Marines and we will be moving to Florida at the end of this month. I'm not sure what my photography business will look like there, but I'm beyond excited to finally be able to put down roots and focus on my family and decorating our new home.

Thank you all for your kind words, support, and cheering me on with my photography business! It has meant the world to me!

Mike and Melissa hired me for photos while they were vacationing on Emerald Isle and to also announce their first pregnancy!

Much to my surprise, they told me they were expecting twins!! A boy and a girl will be joining their sweet family along with big fur-sister Willow later this year! Are they not the cutest??

I photographed Colonel Mills' change of command ceremony exactly one year to the date of his retirement ceremony. After dedicating 27 years of faithful service to the Marine Corps, he celebrated his retirement with a room full of those who love and respect him.

Retirement ceremony for SSgt Laurie

Travis was a hoot (as shown in his solo photo towards the end) and most definitely brought smiles to Marines faces over the last 20 years. When I asked where they were headed to live after retirement, he said they were staying right here on Camp Lejeune until his wife (who is also active duty) receives orders. He stated that he was looking forward to being a "dependa" while his wife finishes up her career. 😂

It's summertime here on Camp Lejeune and that means PCS season as well as Change of Command ceremonies!

Lt. Colonel Soucie has served as the commander for 1/10 for the past 2 years and it was abundantly clear that he holds this unit near to his heart.

It's been an honor getting to photograph so many ceremonies and recognizing so many familiar faces now! This side of the Marine Corps is truly a tight knit family and it's been a blast getting to witness their traditions.

Thank you, Soucie family, for your service and trusting me to document such a memorable day for you. Best of luck at your new duty station!

I met Paige at work as she and her husband Zach are both active duty corpsman in the Navy. Their adorable daughter is about to turn 1 and she was just the sweetest to photograph!

They brought bubbles with them and I've decided that bubbles will now be brought to all of my family sessions with young kids!
