Has wedding planning started costing you your peace?
It can happen quietly.
Checking Pinterest before bed.
Seeing another bride’s wedding and suddenly questioning decisions you already felt good about.
Thinking about the guest list during date night.
Feeling guilty when you’re resting because there’s always something else you could be planning.
Turning what you once prayed for into something you constantly feel responsible for managing.
You can be deeply grateful for this season and still realize the planning has started taking up more space than you intended to give it.
And maybe what you need today isn’t another planning hack.
Maybe it’s permission to close the tabs.
Because your wedding does not become more meaningful because you exhausted yourself creating it.
There is still a relationship to enjoy.
A fiancé to know more deeply.
A life happening outside of the checklist.
A God to abide in.
A season you once prayed for happening right now.
And tomorrow’s decisions were never meant to consume today’s peace.
Jesus said, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” Matthew 6:34.
There is grace for what needs your attention today.
And there will be grace for tomorrow when you get there.
You can plan intentionally without carrying everything at once.
You can care about the details without allowing them to consume the season.
You can prepare for a beautiful wedding while remaining rooted in the One who gave you something even greater to prepare for.
The covenant that comes after it.
Your peace is worth protecting.
Your relationship is worth being present for.
And this season is worth experiencing, not just managing. 🤍
